Transforming Energy Performance at an International Airport in Peru
Introduction
By concentrating on the chiller systems, we accomplished a remarkable 22% reduction in energy consumption right after implementing our Eniscope solution. Subsequently, we introduced an additional 1,417 circuits across the airport, providing the energy management team with real-time data they can utilize to consistently pinpoint energy-saving prospects throughout the expansive facility.
This granular energy data has also been harnessed to establish an intelligent maintenance system, enabling the airport's facility management company to uphold critical systems, provide precise tenant billing, and substantially decrease administrative costs, disputes, and errors.
Across this 120-month contract, our focus remains on advancing behavioral adjustments, including remote temperature controls to minimize heating-related energy wastage, as well as the installation of Eluma, an intelligent LED lighting product that promises significant impact.
What has been accomplished thus far?
Throughout this decade-long agreement, there have been no upfront expenses. A 22% reduction in energy usage has been realized, with further increases expected, resulting in an ongoing return on investment.
